After an intensive soil testing process we've learned that our soil is usable! Not only is it usable, it is nutrient-rich. We have lots of work to do to get it to a stage in which we can grow food successfully.Our soil is mostly clay you see. Our first step toward growing success involves clearing the land of grass and weeds. This past week a hard-working team from Indiana University cut up the sod and moved it off site, later to be composted. A big thanks to you Hoosiers for your labor of love.
